People don't know what they're talking about. Stop listening to their dumb advice.

That might be a funny thing to say when giving advice - to not listen to anyone's advice. You can listen to me. I know what I'm talking about. Everyone says that, so don't listen to me either.

People are idiots. They don't know what's best for you. No one is qualified to tell you what to do. I'm surely not.

You don't need to listen to me, but you're here so I assume you care what I'm saying.

I recently saw someone posting advice on "how to smile." Like physically how to make your face smile.

WHO ARE YOU TO TELL ME HOW TO BE HAPPY?

It's in caps because I'm yelling at my screen.

He said you rest your upper teeth on your lower lip.

Seriously, he told us how to smile. Am I taking crazy pills or is this insane?

Try it, look in the mirror. You look like as much of an idiot as that guy who posted that 'tip.'

Have you ever actually smiled naturally and done that? NO, you haven't, so why would you want to learn how to fake a smile?

Here's advice you CAN listen to. I'll teach you how to smile so you look better in photos.

The stage is a place I can really be myself. Apparently this silly smile is how I express my happiness. At least it's real.

The trick to smiling. The trick to looking good in photos and in real life. The trick to looking happy is….. BE HAPPY.

Happy people smile. Naturally.

Babies smile and laugh when they're happy. Everyone loves a smiling baby. Why do they look so cute? Because it's natural. They aren't worrying about how they look. They aren't worried about people judging them. They are just happy and they know it. And they really wanna show it.

That's not the point though. The point is people are desperate for clicks on their blog, so they post stuff they think is helpful but they're too dumb to realize how terrible they are (and how miserable their advice is).

Think twice before you take advice from someone writing a blog. Especially me.

But keep smiling.

And do it however you want.
