Are you pushing limits or playing it safe?

Almost every piece of information I can find on body language talks about how to improve how you come across to other people. This is clearly an important aspect of taking control of your own body language, but they are missing out on a key concept. Body language is vital in influencing YOURSELF.

I have been focusing lately on pushing the limits of what I'm capable of. I'm closing the gap between my current state and my unlimited potential.

Yes, UNLIMITED potential. That's what we all have. It's waiting to be activated. Waiting for you to take control of your life to see how far you can push the limits. How do you know how far you can go unless you start pushing those limits?

"I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over." -Kurt Vonnegut

It's an fascinating idea, but I'm not interesting in standing on the edge. I want to fly. I want to see that edge disappear on the horizon as a soar away.

The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over. -Hunter S. Thompson

That's more like it.

Are you pushing the limits or are you accepting what other people say is possible? Have they gone to the edge? Have they gone over? How do they know what you're capable of? The only reason anyone is telling you what you can or can't do is because they attempting to hold you back.

I bet they can't even fly.

And they wouldn't know if they could because they've never even gone close to the edge.

I thought this post was going to be about body language and I think it still is, but I'm not going to tell you to improve your body language in order to impress other people.

Use body language to trick yourself into feeling confident. Stand tall and smile. The smile comes from the inside, you don't have to do anything with your face.

Every time you walk through a doorway, imagine you're about to save the world. You can't let them down. They believe you're their hero. Do you believe too? I want to save the world with you. I believe.

So keep pushing the limits. Keep saving the world.

Keep flying.

I'm right behind you. Let's take the leap together.
